About Tracy (she/her)

I believe one of the most important parts of the counselling process is relationship building. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through active listening and compassionate dialogue, I am able to provide guidance and support to help navigate life’s challenges.

My approach to counselling is multicultural and feminist-informed. I take into account the unique needs of each individual, as well as the impacts of culture, race, gender, and socio-economic status. I strive to create an equitable environment, free from discrimination and oppression, where diversity and inclusion are celebrated.

I am naturally curious, open-minded, and empathetic. I have experienced my own challenges and struggles in life, which led me to counselling, and it is this experience that drives my passion to support others. I strive to create a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients, so they can feel heard, understood, and safe.

In my free time, I enjoy a wide variety of activities that help keep me balanced and connected to my community. I love exploring new restaurants, trying different cuisines, and hanging out with friends. I also enjoy knitting for relaxation and feel fortunate to be able to travel and experience different places in the world. These experiences help me to stay connected to my own life and to the lives of my clients.
